I am an artist by nature, stylist by trade, and mother by choice. Hair and art have always been an intrinsic part of my life. I view the hair as a 3-dimensional material on which to paint or sculpt. I have been fascinated with hair since the age of 5, when I received my first Barbie mannequin head and styled the hair and applied make-up. My BFA in Fine Arts coupled with my cosmetology education, make me a synthesized, attuned hair artist. When not honing my skills in hair, I’m chasing my toddler, cooking Indian food, and painting.

I enjoy all types of hair and am gifted in “challenging” hair, (i.e. curly, super thick, or extra fine.) I am skilled in changing your hair from colored hair to natural or short to long. I help with hair decisions and transitions--listening to your needs, envisioning and implementing your desired look to meet your personal style.

With my background in color theory and Bauhaus design, I create customized looks based on your face shape, hair texture, and lifestyle. Since becoming a licensed stylist 7 years ago, I have had on-going education in cutting and color with Bumble & Bumble, Vidal Sasson, and Wella. This has enhanced my organic hair cutting and color ability to become a precision cutter, skilled with razor cutting and utilizing a deep understanding of applied hair color.
