For as long as I remember, I’ve been drawn to hair color. I remember my first red lowlights in 5th grade, my mother referred to me as Narcissus for weeks because I couldn’t stop looking at my beautiful hair! Then, on to doing my first bathroom color job with maroon streaks in middle school, to getting wild with vibrant purple bangs in high school. Now, 8 years into my career as a Professional stylist it amazes me every day how far we’ve come with the technical abilities of hair color, as well as the social admiration and acceptance of vivids in everyday, and even professional life!
In Portland, Or I have a varied clientele of Natural, anti-aging, and vivid focused color. Along with conceptual color schemes geared towards Unicorns, I also have an affinity for lightening, and cutting hair. Blonding is an acquired skill, any lightening project I get into, preserving your hairs integrity will always be the most important aspect to me. But, I believe cutting will always be my first love. I interpret angles, and weight lines, allowing me to bring out the most manageable, flattering cut for your needs. As a stylist I can offer you low maintenance, natural coloring and styling, or; outlandish chromatic schemes sure to make the most mystical unicorn shed a tear from sheer joy.
When I’m not behind the chair, I work an Educator with Joico, a global color and hair care company specializing in healthy hair. The technological advancements of their lines are recognized and awarded around the world. I have assisted their Global Artist and Celebrity stylist on stage and behind the chair! I admire these stylists so much because I share their love of education and growth. As such an experienced hair stylist, it is my duty to convey as much information to my clients as I can to ensure satisfaction in results and longevity of any project we embark on!
